Curated by David Eardley / Pink Essay
For La Oficina, Pink Essay partnered with EN EL 14 in Torre Latino to invite 26 designers and artists to reinterpret common office objects from a list of 40. The result? A blend of radical designs, from desk organizers to ashtrays.
I contributed a lamp to the exhibit and documented the creativity on display. Like every Pink Essay exhibition, La Oficinacelebrates a fluid, expansive vision for design.
Descenso is an illuminating device designed for swiftly transforming a room’s ambiance through an analog, dimmerlike mechanism. Its magnetic rail system allows users to manipulate the beam angle, elevation, and hue of the light as it interacts with the plate, functioning as a reflector.
Crafted from blued steel, its construction is both simple and contemplative, facilitating a seamless transition from a night lamp to a daylight fitting.
This project was showcased at Mexico City’s Zona Maco Emergente in February 2022 and is currently on display and available for purchase at Shelf.

At Tuux, I focus on documenting and developing design and interior projects, managing content strategies, and overseeing visual communication. Previously, at Achach Fotografía, I specialized in creating compelling visual content for art, design, and architecture, while managing social media strategies and providing technical support. In both roles, I have combined my expertise in design, photography, and communication, ensuring the effective maintenance and management of each company’s website.
